THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT YOUTH CAMP - SSYC
Discover the Joy of Youth Fellowship at our annual SSYC
The Sword of the Spirit Youth Camp, SSYC, is our annual Youth Camp for children aged 3 - 18 years old.
SSYC '23 was held on July 17th at the very scenic and beautiful PEG Farm in St. Joseph. The theme was "God's Instrument - Walk Holy as He is Holy". The children had some powerful sessions of worship, teaching of the Word, drama, art and craft, games and a farm tour, all prepared and executed by the anointed youth leaders of House of Faith. We are so blessed to have them.
The Holy Spirit moved mightily upon the children and they will continue to have testimonies of transformation for years to come. I know persons who were present on the property experienced the tangible flow of God's presence from the Hofers.
Food and refreshments were prepared by Aunty Lydia and Aunty Andrea. It was delicious as always.
SSYC '24 was the second part of the theme "God's Instrument - Walk Holy as He is Holy". We took our very zealous and excited campers to Walker's Reserves, St. Andrew. This was another beautiful location that God provided great favour for us with. Glory to God our amazing Provider.
The children were very demonstrative and vocal in praise and worship, as well as the sports segment led by Uncle Jamal. Every activity was designed to emphasize the life of an instrument of God - holiness.
Food and refreshments were provided by the Thanis and they were finger - licking, delicious.
We thank God for the anointed vessels He uses every year to teach the children whether through drama, activities, arts and craft, sports or direct teaching. Whatever the mode, God's power flows mightily and impacts the children and the environs.
Glory be to God!
SSYC'25 - "The Just Shall Live By HIS Faith".
Camp at 4G's Golf Park was explosive. Faith was tested from the outset with threatening rainy conditions, but faith through the empowered team was demonstrated and the rain had to leave. Glory to God.
Stay tuned for SSYC'26!!
